Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Lead Agencies were required to complete a Narrow Cost Analysis in their three year plan, running FY22 through FY24. Maryland State Department of Education partnered with Prenatal to Five Fiscal Strategies to complete an analysis meeting the requirements of the Narrow Cost Analysis. We are pleased to present this memo as the detailed report of the Narrow Cost Analysis which estimates the cost of care (including any relevant variation by geographic location, category of provider, or age of child) necessary to support (1) child care providers’ implementation of the health, safety, quality, and staffing requirements, and (2) higher quality care.
